'One Hundred'

We are really excited to be one of the founding  partners of an exciting new project in North Lincolnshire., that will see more members of North Lincolnshire BAME community pursuing dream careers into professional roles supported by successful  BAME mentors and coaches who share a similar lived experience.

The devastating impact of the Global Pandemic has further highlighted the challenges faced by millennials from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds this project is looking to provide a range of opportunities in these volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous times. The programme will match BAME young people to a BAME Mentor who will support each participant throughout their journey on the project.

A recent report from the UCL Centre for Longitudinal Studies, Carnegie UK Trust highlighted that BAME millennials are 47% more likely to be on a zero-hours contract, and have 10% greater odds of working a second job, compared to their White British peers. If you are interested in become a BAME Coach and would like  more information contact our Managing Partner Sofia Shah.
